The COVID-19 Alert App is now available and ready to use in Manitoba. Once you download the app, it will notify you of possible exposure to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19. This app is an important tool for detection, contact tracing, and limiting the spread of this virus.
The COVID-19 Alert app does not use your GPS or track your location, and it has no way of knowing your location, name, address, contacts, or your health information.
Nobody will get any information about you or the time you were near them. Learn more about how COVID Alert protects your privacy.
